The Germantown Athletic Club is seeking a part-time Weight Room Attendant who will contribute to creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a neat, clean and safe environment for Club members. The Weight Room Attendant monitors the weight room area and orients patrons on proper use of the various weight machines and equipment.
Essential Duties: • Greet and interact with members who come into the weight room area
• Conduct fitness equipment orientations and assist members in the proper usage of equipment
• Monitor and oversee weight room at all times to ensure safety and welfare of patrons
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the facility
• Clean and disinfect all equipment and perform minor repairs/adjustments as needed
• Routinely inspect equipment and report safety or maintenance concerns
• Keep fitness area neat and uncluttered; re-rack weights as needed
• Ensure paper towel dispensers and spray bottles are fully stocked
