Essential Duties:
• Perform daily posting of meter readings to generate utility bills
• Audit billing reports to detect errors, delinquent accounts and potential billing problems
• Investigate and resolve abnormal meter readings, entering corrections into system
• Initiate work orders to field staff for special meter reads, connects and disconnects
• Maintain meter route information in the system ensuring to assign meters to proper addresses and route sequence
• Create and maintain customer accounts
• Perform customer service over the phone and in person; respond to various customer inquiries
• Calculate refunds and delinquent fees, issue delinquent notices and establish payment arrangements
